vehiculeselectriques a écrit :I have some questions about your services please:

Do you sell only the cells ?
do you have 40Ah SE or TS ones ?
thanks
I am selling also BMS (Battery Management System) and chargers for battery packs.
In most cases it will be necessary to order BMS and charger with cells.

Until now smallest cells needed were 60Ah, but it isn't any problem to order 40Ah cells.
If you are interested in its prices - just let me know ;-)

Here you will find some photos of example BMS (with colorful touch screen) and 3kW charger:

this bms only monitor what's happening in the cells (temp, voltage,...) or does it do equalizing charge too?
I'm asking this question because (for me) it look like to be the thundersky bms and charger, wich doesn't do equalizing charge

Yes - Thunder Sky is also using this BMS.
In my opinion balancing BMS is not really necessary for these cells. Our charger is communicating with BMS very well and it limits current when single cell is exceeding 3,6V. If if happens again, charger is limiting current to even smaller value and charging slower until most of cells are equaly charged.
It is simple, but also reliable solution.

There are some solutions i.e. based on resistors on every cell or chargers with additional balancing current...
But in my opininon it is better to have (or borrow) some small external inexpensive (30-50EUR?) rc modell charger and if any cell will start to be undercharged - to charge it separately manually with the external charger.

I know that it is "manual" solution, but it is less expensive and less dangerous.
(imagine, that some resistor will shortcut the battery and drain it to dead, or even resistor will start burning and it would start to fire the car).

Anyway - most of manufacturers resigned of additional balancing and decided to offer more "monitoring" related BMS.
It is good enough to be sold in really large numbers...

Best regards,
Rafal

What is new?

- delivery of the battery to France is FREE OF CHARGE (we have modified one of our earlier posts !)
- we have tested 144V (45 cells) in Peugeot 106 ! - it works very well !

We did put 144V-60Ah battery pack into the car. Separate topic can be found here: http://vehiculeselectriques.free.fr/For ... php?t=5621

Hello,

News? A lot of news! :-)

We participated the eCarTec 2010 fair in Munich. We were exhibitor there together with our government customer (project).

Currently our company finishes government project - we convert VW Caddy (small delivery car) with 60kW electric motor and almost 30kWh battery pack.

We test now some new battery cells discharge current about 10C (!) - they are lightweight and can be charged in about 1,5 hour (!).

We have also very nice new movie uploaded to the youtube:

The first role plays SAM Re-Volt (more information: SAM Re-Volt - 3xE - electric cars )

We typically don't convert used cars into electric. We are more oriented into new cars, fleets and government customers.
But if someone would arrange some group order - we will consider it also.

Best regards,
Rafal

Il semblerait que cette entreprise ait disparu des radars.
Les liens et le site web sont morts.
