Kangoo Electri'cite - montergarage / Poland
Hello all,
at the begining, please forgive me I wrote in English, or I try at least
Some time ago a friend of mine offered me a Kangoo without batteries. I was told it is fully functional, but batteries where taken as energy storage.
As you can imagine true is far from what I was told.
I connected 12x12V 105Ah AGM batteries for test and carefully check all conections, but car do not drives.
After checking mechanical stuff like gearbox, gear selector, parking mode, etc I decided to open CEVA box.
Results you can see at attached photo. Can you help me to detrmine correct parts and maybe someone will have some spare used parts?

I'm not authorised to view this site, nevertheless I found etienne33's website with names and part numbers of parts.
I've ordered (here in Poland) dual diode - DSS2X61-01A 2x60A 100V, TRANSIL 1500W 82V bidirectional and ZENER 15V 0.5W 5%.
Now need only better picture of how all those things are connected. I suppose there was some kind of circuit board at dual diode terminals. Maybe someone has a good pictures of this?
At the moment I still have a hope to run this car again

ok, with main board out at this time , don't forget control the 4 big mos, and their polarisation resistiv component , on under side.

I don't know where to start... Car is still grounded.
I've ended up with external DC/DC converter for 12V. After changing dual diode CVS works for maybe 30 minutes and then 2 of 4 MOS blow out... I gave up with CVS. I need to say that before all works with CEVE, after ignition I had beep sound from dashboard and STOP light went out. Now There is no beep and STOP light is still on.
I've noticed two more things. Car is from 2002, and CEVE has production sticker from 2004.
Friend of mine has CLIP, so we connected and checked stored errors.
Beside errors connected with batteries (fans, temp sensors) there is one error DF106.2 which I cannot delete. It's connected with CVS. Is this because of external DC/DC converter? There was also two errors from alternator 1 and 2, but now they not show up.
Where I should start with fault search? Any advices?

This so called "magic wire"action , is to stabilse the cvs dc voltage regulation loop.
but care , only avaibable without :
12v short-circuit on the car ...
battery reverse polarity....
too much 12V auxililliary need's(heather,froost barr,bass boost audio system,etc...)....
Next time , after all repair (mainboard and cvs board),
and before power-on , read this thread...

Two months later car is still not working
I gave up with battery charger and 12V battery charger.
With fully loaded 12V battery and 144V HT battery (12x12V AGM battery) car should at least start with some errors. I think so.
After ignition you can hear click of contactor, but there od no beep from cluster. There od red STOP on cluster and that's it.
I don't wany to brake down car for parts. I really want to repair it.
Maybe someone has fully functional CEVE for sale?

hi , something wrong with init....
either:
* bad correspondance between ceve and car
(verlog is active)
in this case , virginisation will put ceve in learning mode at first new power-on
* schock detector is active(red bumper in motor comp;)
in this case , just have to re-arm by press the detector
By using canclip or DDT , you can see in "logic state" section of superviseur in both case:
verlog learn 1/0
protect active 1/0
and schock detect switch open 1/0
schock detected 1/0
either:
* bad correspondance between ceve and car

It's been long time since my last post.
I've bought another blue Kangoo ElectriCite, van version and put ceve, dashboard, wire harnesses and battery packs to my white Kangoo.
All works fine except 12V DC/DC converter. I solved this with external DC/DC and AC/DC (two on one).
I've put 2500km in 4 months with ocasionally insulation fault esspecialy after heavy rain and big humidity.
As I wrote on other topic, I have ndect with value 20 and I hope to solve this quickly because I miss driving this thing
Plans for blue are to make it running and probably sell as a project for someone.
